Flagstaff Snow Park

About
Playground • Outdoor • $$
If your kids have been itching to go tubing, this is the spot — it's only about three miles south of town, tucked into Fort Tuthill County Park. There are eight runs total, including a dedicated kiddie hill where your littlest ones can go with you in the same tube. The bigger runs are one-person-per-tube, but you can grab the handle on your kid's tube and go side by side. Tubes are included and you can't bring your own sleds, so don't bother packing them. A couple of things worth knowing before you go: tickets sell out fast and are only available online, so book as soon as they drop (usually five days out). The walks back up between runs add up — most families are ready to call it a day after two to three hours. There are food trucks and fire pits on-site, so you can warm up and grab a bite without leaving. They make their own snow for the tubing runs, so it usually operates even in a dry year, but the general snow play areas depend on natural snowfall.
